BEST ANSWER: HDCP compliance is not a function of the cable but the display and the source equipment you are using. That being said, I use this cable in a system the demands HDCP compliance and it works just fine. Read the specs to determine what the audio and video capabilities of the cable are. Both the display and the source equipment In my system HDR10 and this cable works just fine.

This cable has changed my life. Ok, not really, but before I had it, I wasn’t getting Dolby Atmos on my AppleTV, and now I am. Everything in between was Dolby Atmos compliant, other than my previous HDMI cable.

It will work great in your setup. I use it to connect a 48” LG CX to my PC and haven’t had any issues.

I am using the cable to connect my LG 65" C1 with a PS4 Pro. It handles a 120Hz signal with no issue. And the sound is great. It can handle Dolby Digital / Atmos.

BEST ANSWER: Yes this can be used for an ARC connection as long as both your display and soundbar support ARC and you are plugged into the hdmi ports that support ARC on your devices.

Has anyone used this 8K Cable with a Samsung QN900A connected with a WH-Q900A sound bar through the Earc ports? I have used 2 different Zeskit 8K certified cables and they both experienced lost handshake which disables the Q-Symphony function. I hope this certified 8k cable from monoprice does not experience the same issue.
