I couldn't rate 5 stars because I have no way to verify accuracy; my problem, not the scale's.

With that caveat, this is a great device. The LCD display is illuminated white characters on a black background - very easy to read. The scale reads directly in any unit you can imagine, and some you can't. I can't testify to longevity or ruggedness, but we weighed about 60 pounds of fresh, dripping wet shrimp a pound at a time on a pair of these scales with no problems. (Of course we weighed the shrimp in a container and tried to keep the scales dry, but still ...) A real bargain!

Excellent scale. Very convenient. We primarily use it to weight items for postage.

Excellent for weighing the many electric guitars in my collection. Lightweight. Very easy to read digital display.
