is there a default color if the accompanying software isn't installed?

Are the click and scroll actions loud, or quiet?

BEST ANSWER: When you first plug in the mouse, it will cycle through all the colors continuously. There's additional software to download and install that lets you customize the colors and light patterns. I have mine set to solid red to match the rest of my desktop. The click and scroll are audible, but not excessive.

I installed the RGB DPI software on my Windows 10 machine and have no idea how to get it to turn off all the lighting. Anybody know of this is possible? Is there a step by step?

BEST ANSWER: In the Super-K Gaming Mouse software, on the right side under Lighting section, select Static radio button and slide the scroll bar to 0% to turn off the lighting - nothing will light up when clicked. If you want it to light up ONLY when clicked, select Finger radio button and scroll bar up to 155 max.

If you go to the right side of the program and go to "static lighting" under lighting and set the slider to 0% it should make the mouse completely dark.

Best mouse in the price range

This mouse costs as much as any mouse you will find in that mart store or Gartet. It will outperform any mouse you put it up against. The soft cloth cord does not have any memory like other mice. This mouse is already significantly better than my previous mouse that cost 3x as much. The switches are super clean and with it weighing only 66g it is probably the lightest mouse I've ever owned.
