It sounds good. I am happy with that part. However there seems to be a half a second of delay between the sound and video. Also when it turns on it does not remember what volume it was set at. It always resets to high volume.

This is the first soundbar I've purchased, even though I've been in the market for one for months. I've owned many home audio systems, from complicated Klipsch 7.1 systems, to very simple outdoor setups. Overall, this is a great addition to any TV. It doesn't require a dedicated AV receiver/amplifier, and the wireless connections are flawless. However, like all soundbars, the audio quality will never come close to even a bookshelf-sized stereo system. With that said, this unit is every bit as good as soundbar systems twice, or even three times the price. My one complaint is that the digital display on the soundbar is very bright. It would be awesome if it auto-dimmed after adjusting inputs, sound levels, etc. It's a solid purchase, though, and I'd do it again.

Good quality and sound for a small budget. However (and this is a deal breaker) it seems the bluetooth connection to the surround speakers is interrupting the WiFi signal to my streaming TV. Because of this I'm not able to use the sound bar system. Does the Monoprice engineer team have a solution for this?

Sound quality is good, much better than even the high end TVs integrated, which I was honestly not sure if it would match. But using ARC, the surrounds will randomly screech and pop loudly. Ended up switching back to optical which got rid of that issue, just have to keep 2 remotes handy now.
I really like the surround feature which I mounted over the back of the couch. Can have volume lower at night and still hear everything.

Good for the price but speakers don't get very loud.

The mid range is a little tinny but over all a Good sound at a great price.

My only beef, and others have also pointed this out, is that there is no way to toggle off the display. Each subsequent press of a button turns the display back on. THIS IS ONLY SOFTWARE FOLKS! it cost NOTHING to make right. Otherwise, the unit seems to be good value for the $$ compared to name brands (e.g. Yamaha...)

Low profile. Great sound for the price. Just migrated from the TV speaker system. Huge, huge difference.
We use the soundbar and subwoofer at all times. We turn on the other two speakers when watching a movie.
Easy set-up. I had to read about ARC. All good.
