Can I use this with a 2019 MacBook Pro 16”?

BEST ANSWER: It works great with my iPhone 13. Their documentation says it will work with your device. Make sure you have a USB type C cable to what ever the input connector for power is on your MacBook. Hope this helps.

Yes - any MBP with a thunderbolt/usb-c port will certainly work. USB-C cable of any kind will charge.

Does Monoprice make a USB-C to 4.50 mm x 2.90 mm DC-in cable, so that this could be used as a charger with laptops with older-style power ports?

BEST ANSWER: Not as far as I can see. However, depending on the voltage you need, you may want to get a 5.5mm to 2.9mm adapter and then purchase the appropriate cable from a Raspberry Pi accessory reseller.

Gate at USB-C charger
This charger works fine for my Mac air laptop. I especially like the foldable plug, which is nice when I travel.

Doesn't Activate Samsung Super Fast Charging
Even though this can supply 100W, it does not activate the 45W super fast charging mode on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. I'm using it with a Monoprice AtlasFlex 5A/100W, so it should be providing enough power. Also, the long profile of the block means that it takes up a lot of space when plugged in to a power strip. I've also tried plugging it directly into a wall outlet, but that doesn't activate the super fast charging either.
I'm sure it works fine for other devices, including Apple laptops, it just isn't capable of charging my S22 at the highest speed.

No charger came with my iphone 11.
It works as advertised, would recommend. I've never been disappointed with Monoprice gear.

This charger is able to run and charge my MacBook Pro 16" 2019 at the same time. Lower wattage chargers cause the battery to drain while it's plugged in.

Replaceable cable
I kept shorting out the usb-c power plug to my laptop forcing me to buy a whole new power supply each time. Now I can just purchase a new cord! Just what I needed. Thanks so much
