cable seems to be look high quality, well-made. but this cable came wider than what i'd expect. it fits a cable management system to hide it along the wall but low threshold for bending. the cable i had would lose signal whenever i had to bend it 90 degrees. no loss of signal even at 30ft. I had to return the cable and i lost 12 of my own shipping cost. they gave me a partial refund at first 2/3 of what i paid but i emailed them and complained that it might be defective because of the loss of signal with some bending of the cable. and they gave me the rest of money back.

I had seen the instrument cables that Monoprice sells and was suitably impressed, so when I had a requirement for an HDMI cable of this length, I didn't hesitate to order this one. The flat cable option was attractive and at 24AWG, it keeps you from having to possibly make larger holes to accommodate in-wall or in-ceiling work. With someone on the supply end feeding the wire to me, the thickness of the insulation kept the run nice and smooth and we never snagged on anything in the ceiling. With a 30ft run, I found myself wondering if I should have gone with a RedMere cable, but overall I am pleased with the quality.
PROS: Good, solid connectors with dust covers. Sturdy cable and insulation. Pulled easily through ceiling access without snagging.
Ordered 2 30ft CL2. very nice quality but one was 5 feet short. Should have measured them before running them in the walls but it was too late when I figured it out. Had to use an extension which I didn't like.
Beautiful, high-quality piece of technology. Bought it to run HDMI content from my computer to my LCD big screen in another room. Works perfectly. Razor sharp image. You're nuts to buy a cable anywhere else, where one this size probably would have cost 5 times what I paid here at Monoprice.
Ran this cord through the crawl space from room to room to watch computer on the TV. Flat cord is surprisingly flexible and easy to install. Only issue is that due to the length, you have to crank the volume up to get good sound. No distortion or feedback, but there is definitely something being lost in the resistance of that many feet of wire. Overall for the price it works great though.
