So I have no complaints with quality; however, I would not call this a 12" cable.
The cable is 12" from tip to tip (including the part that inserts into the RJ45 jack, which means when inserted you have about 10" from faceplate to faceplate but only 9" of useable cable for bending and routing. This is about the same usable length as 8" patches I otherwise have so I didn't get the extra slack I was hoping for.
