As with most of the stuff on Monoprice, these bulbs must be rated based on value. Overall, they are a good bulb, with excellent color and brightness. I particularly like the shape of the LED "filament" as the circular array ensures good light distribution and aesthetics. That said, the delay mentioned by other reviewers will be a negative for some folks. Personally, it doesn't bother me, but I understand how some people will disagree.

Warm and Bright! Cool to the touch helping with my Air Conditioning bill! 2of6 arrived broken though. I'll get with Monoprice and they'll probably replace them for me.

We bought these earlier this year and they look good, but one is already flickering, which is very distracting.

There is a 1-2 second delay before the bulbs reach full brightness, it’s very annoying. The quality of the light is very good once they are on however.

So far they have worked well would buy again if needed.
They have an old time look to them.

Meh.
They are an attractive bulb ... but...
-Despite being 6 W, they're not any brighter than the 4 W bulbs they were needed to replace,
-There's a significant lag between the time they are turned on and when they illuminate. This makes it hard to set the dimmer.

These bulbs look great, and provide a nice even warm light. What’s super annoying is that they take up to 2 seconds to actually turn on. I’ve tested in different sockets, and each bulb is exactly the same. Now 2 seconds may not seem like a long time to some, but it’s amazing how annoying that delay is when you enter a dark room, or when compared to other LED bulbs. If this is a primary light source for a room, you may want to reconsider due to the delay. If it’s for decorative, and not primary light source, they work well.
