If the amp meter stops showing any draw (zero amps), is there a way to reset something for it to work again? Or is that part of the unit done for?

BEST ANSWER: No, not on this product. I am not sure if MP sells a product that would do what you are asking.

I have had the same issue and was able to reset the device by unplugging and plugging the PDU.

Pull the power cord and wait a few seconds, then plug back it. That's what did it for me.

Is the meter readout displaying the amps being drawn from items plugged into the strip or is it simply showing the amps being fed into the strip? If I plug something into the strip is the meter displaying the amps being drawn?

Yes and it will fluctuate as you add or remove devices showing near real time. I have this connected to a UPS and both are pretty close on amp draw so it appears to be accurate.

What does the button on the lower right corner of the ammeter display do?

BEST ANSWER: Nothing that I can determine. I'm going to add a label with an arrow pointing to that little button stating "DO NOT PUSH THIS LITTLE BOTTON" just to see how many people push it. And if anyone asks about it first, I'll say
'push it and see" Then scream "NO!" just as they push it....

I'm considering using this surge protector power strip in my sound system rack case specifically for my three power amps. I do not want to plug the amps into a power conditioner, just a surge protector. Can this power strip handle three QSC power amps from a load standpoint?
Thanks,
Thanks,

BEST ANSWER: It's rated at 15 amps and has a built in 15 ampere resettable circuit breaker on the front panel. So if your QSC power amp draws less than 5 amperes then yes this will work ok for 3 QSC power amps.

Can the mounting brackets be rotated 90 degrees and/or are there alternate mounting brackets included to flush mount this under a desk such that all of the front and rear outlets remain unblocked and usable?

BEST ANSWER: One of the images shows a side view with the screws in a rectangular arrangement, not square, so out of the box seemingly not.
I suspect it has two covered tapped holes in the case underneath the ears, to allow it to be mounted in "reverse", to have the cord come from the "front", in which case you could probably drill extra holes in the ears to match those in an "under desk" orientation.
Alternatively, you can look for a wall mount "90 degree" rack (2-4U) and mount that on the underside of your desk, which can then hold routers, modems, switches, in one place, especially if they have ears.

Is there no on/off switch? Do you just push and hold the circuit breaker button if you want to reset all of your equipment?

BEST ANSWER: The button should only be active if it's been tripped like a breaker. Otherwise pressing it does nothing.

pretty good
The current meter is cool. It seems to be consistent with my other power meter I tested it with.

Perfect for my Wall of Amps
I use this to distribute AC power to my multiple Guitar Amps which I have shelved on one wall. I like the fact that there are outlets (receptacles) on both the back and the front of the distribution bar. I plug the permanent devices in the back and temporary devices in the front. The ammeter measures combined front and back sets of outlets. Quality steel and finish on this product.. Comes with rack mounting brackets and 4 bolts/nut/washer sets.
