Do these cables support HDR and are they version 2.0a?

It says it is supported multiple times...
Monoprice Select Series High Speed HDMI Cable - 4K @ 60Hz, “HDR”, 18Gbps, YUV 4:4:4, 28AWG, 6ft, Black
Monoprice Select Series High Speed HDMI Cable - 4K @ 60Hz, “HDR”, 18Gbps, YUV 4:4:4, 28AWG, 6ft, Black
This needs to be clarified. The description is claiming a variety of 2.0 features. If these are 2.0 cables, great! But the Q&A answer makes me concerned. Thanks!

If you don't have an HDMI connector on your tower, you could try a USB to HDMI adapter. Or depending on what connectors you have you could convert. For example....dvi to HDMI or display port to HDMI. Cables are normal least costly of the options, then USB to hdmi, then graphics is generally most expensive. Good luck.

Are these cable rated to be used in wall? Would just be dropped from tv to receiver behind wall, not through studs.
A shopper
on May 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. These cables would only carry a VW-1 fire safety rating but would not have the typical required rating of CL2.
You can check with your local code enforcement or fire department regarding the proper cable codes required for your installation.
CL2/CL3 would be perfect to use for your setup. I would recommend using Product # 15428, which has a CL3 rating.
Should you require additional assistance, please reach out to our technical support team with a detailed question via any of the methods available here:

Are these HDCP 2.2 compliant? If not, which HDMI cables are?
A shopper
on Jul 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: HDCP will be a copy protection protocol that would simply be carried in the signal through the cable. You would just want to be sure that the HDMI cable you use supports the resolution that you are trying to send. Your source and display is what you would want to be HDCP 2.2 compliant.

A Great High Quality Cable At A Low Price.
I have used Monoprice cables in my HT setup for year's and they have never ever let me down. And this Select Series cable carries that on. I have it hooked up to my new Sony XBR X950H running to my Sony STR-DH1080 AVR and the signal it send's is as high quality as you can get in a more expensive cable. Save your money and buy this HDMI cable because I cant recommend it highly enough.
