Will this patch panel work with unshielded connectors? (P/n:39754)

BEST ANSWER: Yes, but your shield connection form one wire won't carry all the way through to its destination. If none of you cables are shielded, Monoprice makes a much less expensive version of this.

Not good, very much regret buying this

1st one I ordered, it arrived bent and bowed. No big deal, just replace it, except Monoprice's policy is to receive the damaged item first and THEN can they ship out the replacement. Crappy policy that just wastes time (I should have just done a return-for-refund and buy the thing again).

Just today, I noticed that one of the ports is bad. Using a fluke networks toner, toned out the cable in the patch panel, 5 "missing" wires out of the 8. Removed the cable from the patch panel end, crimped that cable to an RJ45 end, toned it, it's good so I know it's not the cable. Re-punched it down to the patch panel... bad again.

Lastly screws are by far the most strippable screws I've ever dealt with (see pic). Might as well make them out of play-doh.

What the hell, Monoprice?? How many more bad ports do I have in this panel?? WHERE IS YOUR QA??!! I could return it AGAIN but I don't want to punch down all these cables all over again just to risk getting an even crappier patch panel. Seriously regret buying this, I'm done with Monoprice.
