The cable looks and feels great. It's one of monoprice's slimmest DisplayPort cables for casual use, and the braiding means it plays nice when shifting around with other cables in a channel.

Unfortunately, the design of this product is also casual. The lack of any locking mechanism makes for a very unstable connection. Frequent black screens can be expected due to signal degradation between devices. With no adapters between devices, the signal *can* be functional for long periods of time. The quality of your device connectors will come into play there. If you plan to use any adapters or extensions (even as small as an inch), look elsewhere. This cable can't reliably handle anything remotely jarring and will frequently flicker to a black screen from signal loss.

Save your money and get a different displayport cable here for cheaper.

The cable works at first but starts disconnecting and shows a black screen every couple of minutes. Switching the ends did not help either. I got a different cable from another manufacturer that works without any issues.

Works great, quality product. Minor inconvience is it's stiffer than most cables, so larger bend radius when routing.

High quality braided cable. Only gave it 4 starts because it does not have clips to hold it in place. Excellent Product.

Seems to be exactly what I needed. Carrying 1440p @75 hz without issue! The braiding is a plus, and the plugs themselves seem to be of a high quality (heavy usually means high quality in my experience)

The cable is fine, feels like decent braiding. The connector doesn't have locking pins though, and it can wiggle loose surprisingly easy. Even unplugging just a small amount can cut the video feed.

I have a high-end graphics card with an ultra-wide hi-res monitor. The DisplayPort 12 cables work great. And the price was the best around. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and the performance. Kenneth W., Omaha, NE

Very nice braided cable, a little on the thicker side, and it doesn't have the locking prongs you find on some display port cables, which is worth noting if you like them.

It supports my ultrawide monitor at 120hz, so I'd say it meets the DP 1.2 spec well
