It says "near zero" latency - would this be fast enough to use for gaming?

BEST ANSWER: In my experience anything wireless you add to any gaming setup adds some level of latency. Additionally, televisions, in general, demonstrate very high levels of input latency in gaming. I learned the hard way about this. Some games you can get away with, but "twitch" games like Call of Duty, battlefield, etc, you will most certainly be at a disadvantage playing on a TV and even using any wireless transmission of video and even some wireless devices. Even though I have never used this product, I can already tell you I would never use it for gaming. I wouldn't be against it for regular television programming, however; just not gaming.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
Then you would get whatever signal your source device is outputting but this can only handle up to 4k @ 30 Hz so it cant pass 4k @ 60 Hz.

Is this bi-directional? Some video sources negotiate with displays over frame/speed details. That requires bi-directional transmission.

Do these have a 1/4-20 screw connector on the bottom of TX and RX to be able to mount on a tripod or light stand?

No, there would not be holes for screw on the bottom of the stands.

not in the stands, it the units themselves. Most items like this have a mounting method. The stand looks like a piece of plastic to just hold them up. Can you take a picture of the bottom of them?
Thanks,

I'm also curious about the latency - what exactly is "near zero latency"? -- if this could be used in a multi-camera setup, that would be fantastic!

Can multiple Monoprice Blackbird Pro be used in the same room at the same time? IE. One pair streaming to one TV, and a second pair streaming to a different TV in the same room.

New product behind the times
Be aware that this product:
1. Is not HDMI 2.0 or better (no hdr)
2. Is not HDCP 2.3 (may not work with some video)
3. Is not a strong signal and requires line of sight
Very odd that a "new" product uses dated technology

People need to learn to read before buying, let alone reviewing
To Karl D: you don’t read very well.
“ Note: The Transmitter and Receiver must be in direct line of sight of each other. Any obstructions between the Transmitter and Receiver will affect signal transmission.”
So the product description pretty much spelled out exactly what you complained about.
Good job.
You must have been the type of kid who touched a stove after being told not to because it’s hot, and then touch it and cried it was hot.

Does not work as advertised
This unit works line of site only and at a shorter distance than advertised. And if anything gets in the line of site (i.e. a person walking between); it drops the signal. It looks good and sounded too good to be true; to bad it was. It does not work. We are in the process of returning it.
