Tricky to set up but worth it. I had previously set up the Google mini speaker. This device was a bit more difficult mainly due to the added features. The info has you put you events into your tablet/phone first to be able to get the voice reminder each day. I have learned since that voice reminders can be input directly which is much easier! I put it on a master bedroom shelf. I can ask it each morning "what's on my calendar". This saves a trip into the home office to check my "hard copy" calendar.

It works perfectly.

I have Alexa and bought this just to see which is smarter. Apples and oranges. Do like the photo ability though.

I haven’t opened it yet. This is a Christmas gift for my daughter who has google assistant.

The device works fine, it is an asset to have. I just hope big brother is not listening.
