This is a rebranded Hikvision camera. We switched to Hikvision IP cameras when we upgraded our first gen cameras, and were very pleased with the image quality, easy configuration, and reliability. That's why I decided to give this camera a try, and I'm just as impressed. This camera didn't cut anything from its Hikvision version that impairs the performance. In fact, our Milestone software readily recognized this as Hikvision hardware, and I have no doubt that it would even pair easily with an actual Hikvision NVR. Have no doubts - it's definitely from the Hikvision Value Series, but that just means no frills. So when you just need a great camera to keep its focus on an important area, this is a very good option. I'll be purchasing more of these.
