BEST ANSWER: I have not seen Monoprice offer a replacement cable and I have not looked elsewhere. They do have a one year replacement guarantee if you have had a problem.

What is the frequency response? I recognize it covers 20Hz-40kHz, but I'd like to see the chart to understand if I could use these for studio monitoring occasionally.

Just get them! The price doesn't match the quality of output. They're a great purchase.
I am so impressed with the sound of these. Don't waste your listening experience with those 'white' ones that you get free with your phone. I can't hear details in music that I could only hear with more expensive Pro headphones. The included cable has a great microphone and is great for calls, but it is nice that it is replaceable if you ever break it or just want to upgrade it. For the price, I'm very impressed. I like them so much that I purchased a total of 3 sets!

Excellent out of the box!
IEMs are the way to go for private listening or listening on the go. Monoprice has done it again! Offering great sound and value in an IEM at a price (on Sale) that is akin to a "happy meal". To get the best sound, make sure you choose the ear tips carefully-you need a good seal! The bass is great! Just buy them...you can't do better!

Wow!
Crisp, clear, full of base. Once I figured out how to keep them in my ears, moved rating up to 5 stars for exceptional performance.

Fantastic
So remember these aren't meant to be compared to high end products.
Having said that, they sound great. Slightly limited in just a couple of ways.
1. no memory wire - if you've never had a pair with memory wire you probably don't know what you're missing. For keeping your in ears in place it's really handy, and would really put these in another category up the quality ladder
2. the cable. It's flimsy, and braided. If these came with a silicon sleaved cable and (like other monoprice in ears) a second cable with a mic, these would be at the top of my list.
Other than this, you really can't beat these for the price. I would stack them up agaist name brand versions on sound, but with anything monoprice, build quality is where the cost savings come in.
Highly recommend!

Pretty good, but a few shortcomings
I bought there to replace a similar product by Shure, which cost 3-4 times as much. The mids and highs are crisp and clear, but where these fall down is in the low end. There is plenty of low end, but it is very "boomy". Bose products are traditionally boomy in the low end, which I don't mind, but it is even more pronounced in these. I bought these for listening to on motorcycle rides, and I think they will be great for that purpose. They block outside noise and are very comfortable. However, I wouldn't consider these for "critical listening", they would become fatiguing after a while. I purchased them at 50% off, which is a more than fair price. At full price, I would shell out the extra money and pay twice as much for an equivalent Shure product.
One note for Monoprice: Really spiffy packaging is nice, but I'd rather money go into products. The whole "unboxing" experience doesn't mean much to me.

Blown away by a purchase made on a whim...
I caught these little wonders on sale for $34.99 and, having had good luck with other monoprice audio products, I scooped up a pair on a whim. The Trios present a well balanced sound, with nuance and detail throughout their sonic range. Like most IEMs the soundstage isn't the most expansive, but it isn't non-existent like with many others at this price and thus, the sound placement and imaging is surprisingly present in the virtual audio performance they render with quality that bests many IEMs of greater price and brand name renown. When compared with many of the chi-fi offerings from the likes of KZ and CCA, they out perform the vast majority save only a few specific standouts. To sum up my thoughts, these would be a solid purchase at twice the price and i am simply thrilled with the bargain I got them for. Those of you trawlling Amazon for some cheap IEMs trying to sort the few decent options from the garbage, make this easier on yourself and buy these instead. I guarantee you'll be more than satisfied.

Really Good. Now -- how long will they last?
My best sounding earbuds ever -- but not near the most expensive. The only question now is how well to they stand up to use. That is the $39 question, because if they break easily and quickly like almost all other earbuds then they are not worth it.

Solid Sound.
I like these. Good frequency range. Fraction of price of other similar IEMs.
I would prefer foam earpieces for better isolation.
