Is this device wall mountable?
A shopper
on Sep 20, 2020
BEST ANSWER: This is only about an inch by and inch by 1/2 thick.. You could probably dbl sided tape stick to a wall, but would depend on the weight of the wires you attach to it. I really should be put inside a junction box/light switch box or something to be electrically safe.

At least in the US, 12V/24V DC circuits do not require any kind of a junction box as it is considered low voltage.
Best practice is still to mount in some form of box. You should also ensure you are using inline fuses to protect the DC circuits and the dimmer device itself.

It does not have mounting holes or hardware included. But it is small, light, and the back is flat. Could easily screw a strap over it or use good double-sided tape/velcro.

The unit does not have mounting provisions. However, due to its small size, 1.6" x 1.3" x 0.6" (41 x 32 x 15 mm), double stick tape will easily hold it to most surfaces.

Yes, I used velcro to adhere it to the backside of a cabinet. The only thing you need to do is make sure the antenna is bent so it stays vertical.

There are no keyhole slots for screws but this device is so small and light if I were wall mounting it I would used 2 sided tape with Velcro.

BEST ANSWER: If your HomeSeer hub works with ZwavePlus it should work (technically). But I have not tried it. I just bought 6 of these to replace the higher priced Fibaru RGBW modules, and am a few weeks away from implementing them with my customers existing Zwave hubs (ie. Vera).

Would the RGBW Dimmer Controller be suitable to control the two 24VDC / Max 5 A motorized mechanisms in my recliner sofa?
Port 1 would be forward, port 2 for reverse etc. Ideally these should be momentary contacts.
Do you have other products better suited?

I've got these *basically* working with smartthings, no special device handler, they were recognized as "RGBW Light" and most of the controls work BUT so far I've not been able to get the W channel on light strips (I tried multiple strips, multiple of these units) to light. So, I expect it's an issue with Smartthings' RGBW handler not sending the right commands. Anyone have pointers to an improved handler (or just confirmed with another hub that the W channel is actually controlled....)?

Works with Homeseer
I am using this to update the cove lighting in my home theater from old colored rope lights (1998 technology) to RGBW LED strip lighting. The old system used 4 different color rope lights on Insteon dimmers and I could get a variety of color blends using Homeseer scenes. With this dimmer I can get 16 million colors from a single strip of LED lights, and true white too, and I can get it with the press of just one button! I didn't download the phone app because all it would control is the LED lights and I wanted it to integrate with my home automation scenes. It was immediately recognized by my Z-Wave hub on Homeseer and created a node for each color, the white channel a few other nodes too. From there just create scenes with the values of RGB blends you want and include your other switches and devices. I don't use Alexa but I'm sure it would work too.
For reference, I am using 2 X 5 meters long, 60leds/m of 5050 RGB+W on the same chip. Power supply is 12V 10A. I am easily driving two 5 meter strips, and plan to add 8 more feet under the bar. This will keep all of the LED strip colors in sync. I am very impressed with this device in price and performance.

Perfect for my needs
This is exactly what I needed for a library cabinet lighting project. Rather than using this as RGBW, I'm using it to control 3X "wash" lights at the very top of our library cabinets with the 4th channel controlling an LED strip above the built-in reading desk. I created eight "scenes" in HomeSeer to make it easy to control the lighting channels.
