How fast do the memory buttons respond when pressed? Does it require a "long press" to wake up the console when choosing one of the presets?
Jonathan K
on May 13, 2021
BEST ANSWER: It requires a press of the up or down arrows to wake up the console. Once the console is awake you can press the memory buttons for it to adjust to a memorized location.
Even pressing up or down doesn't work immediately. You have to press it twice. Once to wake it up, then again to manually adjust.

You press the Up or Down arrow once to wake it up, then press the preset button. No 'long presses' required. They respond quickly and it's not bothersome to change the desk height.

The buttons take a double press to activate the presets. The first press wakes up the system and the second press activates the memory pre-set. It's all pretty quick though.

I tap the Up/Down arrow to instantly wake the unit, then the memory button. Slightly extra steps, but you don't think twice about it after a few repetitions.

This is the frame only with no table top and I'd recommend mounting a drawer to the table top you receive. Since the desk moves you can't easily attach anything to the legs and the axil of the motor is in the way to attach anything to the back of the desk frame.

It all depends on the drawer depth and where you want to position it. Also as this frame doesn't come with a desk top you'd probably want to go as big as possible so you have more real estate under the desk to mount to.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, there are small casters under the main legs. They come out at the lowest setting to help with moving the desk so that even a single person could reposition it. They retract once the desk height is adjusted upwards so that the desk will be stable, especially at taller settings. You can check the linked manual on the product page to see where on the bottom of the legs they are positioned. Thanks for checking.

Stability is comparable to the 31290 single motor frame, more stable than the 35377 basic single motor frame, but less than the dual motor models. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Is the smallest table top depth I can use is 23.6"? what is the biggest possible depth? also that means that the feet depth back to front is 23.6"? the data is not in the dimensions diagram
A shopper
on Aug 4, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi, you are correct, the desktop with the least depth that could be recommended is 23.6". The biggest depth would really depend on the desktop you will use and the load you will put on it. Thinner engineered wood material would be best kept around 6" of overhang. More stable and thicker material could probably support 8-10" overhangs without compromising long term durability, but best to check with the desktop manufacturer. Hope this helps.

Monoprice Single Motor Angled Electric Sit-Stand Desk Frame with Built-In Casters

Workstream by Monoprice Adjustable Ergonomic Keyboard Tray With Full Size Platform
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the keyboard tray is actually designed more to be used with ordinary desks that do not have height adjustability. The keyboard tray was meant to be the adjustable part to help with ergonomics for users who are not upgrading their desks and would therefore not have an easy way for adjustments.
If you are planning on using a height adjustable desk, it is actually better to set the desktop height for a comfortable typing position, providing you a more stable and fine-tuned platform, and then to adjust the monitor (or to use a monitor mount) to set the screen height and angle at the best levels when sitting or standing.
The issue with using the two products together is that the desk has a center frame rail that would prevent the keyboard tray rails from being installed properly (unless you have a really deep desktop).
Hope this helps.

Based on the side view, it appears that the desk surface moves toward the user as it is raised. What is the weight limit for the desktop (including the weight of the tabletop) before it becomes "front heavy" in the standing position and begins to want to tip toward the user?
A shopper
on Dec 16, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the desk frame is quite stable and there were no issues from potential tipping or from being front heavy when we were testing this style of desk frame within the design specs (max rated load of 175 lbs), using typical desk setups where the weight distribution is reasonably towards the center of the desk. The feet length and angles form a stable triangle with the floor so the desk is stable. One thing to watch out for is to avoid a desktop with excessive overhang beyond the frame dimensions since, in general, it is best to keep the weight supported by the frame for maximum stability and durability. Hope this helps.

Great desk. Like the cantilever legs vs T style. Feels lighter but very solid though. Has a nice roller feature at the bottomed out position and the feet have useful levelers. Have two now, added a Homedepot butcher block top with a tung oil finish. Nice light amber look. A+.

Great product!
I used this base to attach to my existing desk. There were adjustments that had to be made to make sure everything clears on the way down, but it works great. And no one notices it is there unless it is up.

Works as intended
Pros: fairly quiet, works as intended, simple to set up and use
Cons: preset level has been 'sinking', directions to put together could be slightly better

Solidly built and very modern look!!
I have had this desk now for several months, I wanted to wait to add a review to get a full accounting over a period of time. This is a sold desk and it is very sturdy. I have a Samsung 49" monitor, speakers, desk lamp and keyboard and it operates seamlessly. It was very easy to set up and set my predetermined desk heights. LOVE IT! A friend of mine bought the exact same desk but he bought off of Amazon and the price was higher. Because of the adjustability I can easily slide my driving sim and push the button for the correct height and I am off, then when it is time for my 9-5 I push another button and it is at working height until I need to give my back a rest when I bring it up to standing height. I have no complaints and love the fact that I can roll the desk in to a new spot with the wheels! This is my third standing desk and by far the best I have owned!

Awesome design with wheels!
Amazing frame. When you hit the lowest height it pops wheels to allow easy moving. Really what I was looking for with my hardwood floors.
I picked up the table top from Amazon since monoprice was out of stock.
Lorell Active Office fit pretty well.
Good to make sure you have screws on hand that are the right depth for your table top.
