The description for this cable is inaccurate. I took their "Connect a smartphone with headphone jack to XLR input" language literally. This can be accomplished if wired correctly. Unfortunately this cable is wired Tip-XLR pin 2, Right-XLR pin 3, and Sleeve-XLR pin 1.. The vast majority of XLR inputs are balanced, not stereo, and will reverse polarity on your left and right signal resulting in an unusable mess of sound through the mixer.
I know there would be signal loss when summing left and right, but that is still preferable to the polarity mismatch which makes this cable useless for plugging a phone into a mixer.
Cable and connector quality is great btw. As long as you understand the wiring, order without hesitation.
