There are not a lot of places where to purchase home theater products where I live. So I go to Monoprice for a lot of my needs. Wall plate binding post is one of them. Very sturdy, strip your wire about a half inch insert and tighten down and go to the next post. Overall not the best, I like the ones that have two screws one holds the cable and one tightens on the wire. Monoprice fits my needs. Don't just go with the two, leave room to grow. I went with the five binding post filled all but one. Like my MUSIC and THEATER sound.

Comparable binding posts online go for way more. This works great and looks great. No issues at all installing or with connection.

Talk about a bunch of bananas! And I mean a WHOLE bunch. 5 speakers in one gang? You guessed ‘er Chester. Make my day!

Gave it a 2 because when I went to attach the cover plate to the 1 Gang mount, the pre drilled holes are drilled in the wrong place and will not allow me to attach the cover as is

It requires a special wall plate as it’s larger than a standard Decora. It comes with a single gang plate, but if you need multiple you may be out of luck.

The mounting screws eBay come with it are not flat, so they interfere with the cover plate mounting properly, so it leaves gaps.

I was glad to replace my 4-post wall plate with this 5-post wall plate, it looks neater for my living room wall. 4 stars because one of the post wouldn't screw in tightly, it just keeps spinning. But it's fine, the wire still has connectivity.

This does the trick if you’re installing it in a single gang and use the included faceplate. However, if you wish to install it in a multi-gang setup using a Decora faceplate, beware that it is both taller and wider than a standard Decora opening. I had to use a Dremel tool to enlarge the opening. In retrospect, I’d instead go with two binding post inserts, one three pair and one two pair. This would look better, and be easier to install (no need to break out the Dremel, and the wires would be less crowded.)Still, the binding posts themselves work well, and hold wires (on the backside) and banana plugs (on the front side) securely. I’d buy binding post inserts from Monoprice again, just not this particular five pair insert.

Worked well for me. I just have to file my existing wall plate to accommodate this larger piece of plastic.
