Can I use this extension cord outdoors, and leave it out when it rains? I’m connecting to a 14-gauge string of outdoor lights.

BEST ANSWER: I would not use this cord outdoors. It is sealed except for the female end. If you don't encapsulate this end to keep water from entering, it will cause a short (and possibly a fire).
