I bought the 34418 connectors and they do not fit 22 AWG solid Cat 6.
The paired cables are too large to fit inside the insert pieces.

Yes, Cat6 and Cat6A typically are 23 AWG. These modular plugs worked fine on Cat6 cable I have.

Dear Monoprice. I just paid $22 for these connectors, and they came with no instructions. I cannot find any videos online on how to put together a 4-piece RJ45 Cat6A plug. Can you please provide instructions, or make a How-to video? It would be a huge help for someone like me who has never done this before.

Seriously, is there any sort of documentation about how to install these? The look simple enough, but I can't make a cable where the contacts actually result in a working cable. Seems the insert is what makes them not make good contact.

Connector did not fit.
The Cat6a insulation was too thick for the connector to fit properly.

Borderline defective.
These plugs are impossible to wire correctly. Even with wires touching the edge of the connector prior to crimping, the prongs fail to penetrate the insulation on the wire.
