BEST ANSWER: yes a good selection of mounting hardware comes with, so will likelmay have what you need, but a lot of varibility in TV's/monitors so depends, i have used on dozens of monitors and am good about 95% of the time

The plate is not 1.2" thick, that would be over 30mm thick. Not happening. Could you mean .2" as in 2 tenths of an inch thick? That would be about 5mm thick.

Are the 100 x 100 holes tapped?

BEST ANSWER: No, holes are not tapped. Mounted a 200x200 monitor on a 100x100 mount with the supplied nuts and bolts. Works great!

BEST ANSWER: Yes, but it’s just a flat plate (with screws) with various VESA hole patterns so you can attach something made for 50x50 to something with a 200x200 pattern.

I have a 55 inch TCL tv that is Vesa 200x200, your 200x200 tv mounts only go up to like 45 inches...If i get a Vesa 400x200 that is meant for 55-65 inch tv's would that work? Or i have to buy this mount as well?

I want to buy your momoprice dark matter 34inch monitor. I am mounting it to a sim lab evo gt1 single screen mount. Which only take 100x100 100 x200 and 200 x 200. I see your monitor is only 75 x 75 will this allow me to mount the monitor?

Good Product, Wish they Drilled Two More Holes
Good quality, and comes with a lot screws and bolts.
I have a pair of, I guess, oddball LG monitors, that have 100x200mm mounting holes, but the holes are very close to the bottom edge of the monitor.
So if you use the adapter plate as intended the plate would stick past the bottom of the monitor by maybe 25mm/1".
I had to drill an additional set of holes to make it work with my setup.

More robust than expected
Enough Vesa pattern holes to fit even patterns (200 x 200 etc... ) and odd patterns. (100 x 200 etc... ) Much better than the doubled up old

Adapter for Sony TV finally found
This was needed after I found that the TV I had purchased requires 100x200 VESA mount, which is surprisingly not supported by 99% of mounts manufactured. Worked perfectly.
Below is the TV I purchased, and if you need a 100x200 vesa mount this adapter will let work with any manufacturer mount, but for smaller mounts the adapter MAY hang a little off the bottom.

Simple, but effective
My cheap wall mount used a 100mm pattern, the TV only had 200mm. This adapter worked well enough. It doesn't look great. The silver color (even though essentially all TVs and wall mounts are black) and the bolts that stick out. Most people will never see the back of a TV though. Mine just so happens to be mounted in an opening between two rooms so the back is very visible. But bottom line is it works and it feels solid. Note: The black "x" type piece if part of my mount, not part of this item.
