Does this Chord work for plugging your guitar into an amp?

BEST ANSWER: This particular cable is only 1 and 1/2 feet long. I purchased it for two reasons: one, I use short cables for effects etc. two, it was reduced in price. Yes, it could be used for connecting guitar to amp but it would need to be considerably longer. There are longer versions of this cable available at Monoprice which would be suitable for guitar to amp and since they are reduced in price it would be a bargain over a traditional guitar cable. I like the weight of this cable because typically the heavier the gage the better the signal. I haven't observed the glow feature yet but I haven't used the cable in UV light so far. Even if it didn't glow I like the weight and construction. Hope this helps.

Well made, durable, light and flexible.

Good quality, light and flexible. I particularly like the ends. Other guitar cables I've had tend to unscrew on the ends and the wire connections get frayed or broken. These are made differently and won't do that. Haven't had a chance to check the color glow under UV light.
