A very underrated SSD that more people should take a look at. Great value and performance.
Work extremely well I get decent speeds. The cash really makes it worth it. While Samsungs pro line would be better on the speed front you just can't beat the value here. And since I mainly work with music software that increasing speed would not translate to anything useful. I'm considering picking up another one or two for raid.
I do wish a little bit it came with some sort of a heatsink but that is not really a big deal. Where mine sits in my motherboard it sits around 46c to 56c at its worst.
Its a pretty good speed/size/price price-point. The only issue I have with it is when having it do a lot of work, it can get rather hot and end up throttling which tanks performance.
HP should have definitely packaged these with one of those stick on heatsinks that cost about 2 cents that would completely take care of this issue in desktop use. Although you probably couldnt use the heatsink in a laptop there's a good chance the chassis of a laptop would provide that heatsink itself.
