I have purchased these wires with spade connectors. Do you have the banana plugs to swap out for the spade connectors? I notice the spade connector unscrews from the cable. I would appreciate a part number if this is possible. Thank you

The spades are very large, and only partially connect with my speakers and receiver, and my receiver doesn't have enough room in the back for the standard monolith banana plug wires. Since the spade connectors screw off, offering replacement screw-on spade, banana plugs and (in my case, the most useful) 90 degree banana plugs to mix-and-match would be fantastic.

Why does the spade connector version of this cable cost so much more than the banana plug version?

Spade connectors in general will usually cost more than regular banana plugs.
These would be more expensive because the process for making these connectors would cost more.

How are these measured? Is it the main cable or total length including the connectors? I'm real close to having the 6 ft work and any extra would help. Thanks.

How wide are the spades? My old speakers just have an ordinary screw for each conductor, with a barrier between the screws to prevent a short-circuit from a stray strand. It will be inconvenient if the spades are wider then the space between the barriers.

Are these suitable to connect vintage (circa late 50s early 60s) speakers to (same vintage) Integrated amp? They both have screw terminals.

Great cable for Klipsch R-51M
Monoprice 14AWG ofc greater than stock cable and made a better music sound and movie sound.

I probably should have purchased the banana plugs instead of the spade. I even had one spade strip out inside the end of the connector (they are threaded in) I love my monolith cables, just not these so much. oh well

Not sure what to say
I don't know what I got for my money. The connectors swivel out of the bag and I thought that's handy. Turns out they aren't supposed to and the connectors were falling off. I had to screw them back together, but there was no stopping point and they just twist. So, I'm not even sure I got good cables or not since I can't see what is going on inside under the housing. Maybe there is no good connection inside.

Highly recommended.
I switched to these cables after I got tired of babying a pair of audiophile grade cables (that cost 5x as much). And honestly, the Monolith are a noticeable improvement. Even my non-audiophile wife commented on the difference. The only reason I downgraded them is that the spade connectors are too large to fit comfortably on the terminals on my amp. I'm keeping this set and just ordered a pair with banana plugs.

No Interchangeable Connectors
Quality is good as well as price. However there are comments that they are interchangeable and according to Monoprice chat they are not. My fault for ordering speaker wires a month before my amp came in, so just look out.

Excellent
I got these from Monoprice directly as an evaluation unit to run a sub from my integrated amp. I already use same cables with banana plugs and once I added a sub, this was note doubt. Very well made cable.
One thing that I was hoping is that monoprice would sell spade and banana plugs separately, to allow us to swap the connectors as we please.
Overall, very happy with the cable.

Awesome construction........
I like the snug fit of the spades and construction of these speaker wire is top notch, these are still burning in so far so good.........
