BEST ANSWER: Yes, this would work as long as your iMac has VESA mounting and the overall dimensions for the mounting points fit. You might want to consider adding product 33093 so you can have more range to position your side monitors. Hope this helps, thanks.

Yes, the posts and cross-rail are very sturdy and should be able to handle the weight. Width is more likely to be your limiting factor, as well as what Mounts you choose to use. I am currently using a 34" Dell U3415w Ultra-wide Curved Monitor attached to the Tilt and Swivel Monitor Mid-Mount. It is very sturdy but it should be noted that the mount is only rated at Max 17.6 lbs per display. It also sticks out a decent amount from the slat bar (~5") which creates a higher moment arm; while my monitor feels secure, I would hesitate to hang anything heavier than 18-19 lbs on the Tilt and Swivel Mid-Mount. The closer you can mount the monitors to the face of the slat bar, the sturdier it will be.

Yes. This thing is rock solid. I'd be more concerned with the table/desk surface you're mounting it to. Mine is holding two 23" displays, a thunderbolt 3 dock, and some other accessories, and I wouldn't hesitate to add weight.

Weight won’t be an issue. These things are heavy duty. The only question is if you’ll have enough real estate to hold all three. I have two 27” monitors and can’t add a 3rd.

First, this looks like a great solution to organize my sit-stand desk. But second, I have some questions.
It looks like if I had a wide enough desk I could add another horizontal segment and another vertical mount? Is that correct? Can that also be done at a 90-degree angle?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can add another support and cross beam. Also, the supports are not squares, they are rectangles, but the slots on the short side (where the cross bar is mounted in the product images) do appear to match the slots on the long side, so it may work at a 90 degree angle.

No reason that wouldn't work. There are identical slots on all four sides of the uprights.

BEST ANSWER: We don't have this option and would recommend against using extensions for the main structural parts. It might be possible to spec longer lengths of the aluminum extrusions, but that would require custom orders and there would be minimum order quantities involved. Thanks for checking.

It may be possible to DIY replace the aluminum extrusion with a longer one. It appears to be a standard Series 30 T-Slot framing extrusion.

There's no information limits for this. What are it's dimensions? What are it's restrictions?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, we are working on adding this information to the product page, but in the meantime, dimensions for the Vertical Column are 2" x 1.75" x 16". The base of the column that sits on the desk is around 5x3", with the clamp able to open up to 2".

Hi, for your other question, we recommend this Vertical Column for loads up to 44 lbs. If used with the Horizontal Rail and another column, the system is recommended for up to 70 lbs. The mounts and accessories are recommended for loads up to 17 lbs each, 8 lbs for the pen holder. Hope this helps for now, we'll work on adding this info to the product pages. Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, yes it is possible to use two (or even more if within space and weight constraints) monitor mounts on one vertical column. The vertical column is recommended for loads up to 44 lbs. This monitor mount is recommend for monitors up to 17.5 lbs. Recommended maximum screen size is 27", you can go bigger if within weight recommendations, but you might lose some adjustment range when monitors are bigger. Thanks.

I'd love to have a pair of these vertical columns approximately twice as long, so that I can mount a couple of things above monitor height. Does anyone know what the 'profile' of these rails are (a picture of the top without the cap would be perfect)? I'm thinking that I could get this for the hardware and buy a stock piece of extruded aluminum rail to use.

Thanks! For the life of me I couldn’t find another provider for that specific extrusion shape - but I don’t think I’ll need to. It looks like I can add the additional pieces I want (microphone, camera ams, shelf brackets, etc) with 40mm t-slot hardware

has the horizontal slat been discontinued?

Hello, I recently purchased two of these vertical columns and was looking to buy a horizontal bar to fit the length of my desk. Would normal aluminum extrusion work with these columns and if so, what would be the best series to pair with this? 40/40 or 20/20?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Deeper & Larger C-Clamp
This c-clamp is larger and deeper than many other c-clamps.
I have a desk that has a beveled edge, and this clamp goes deeper (pass the beveled edge) to be able to have a full grip.
The bigger clamp and two grips really help with stability.
It's hard to find this among other brands and still be affordable. Thank you Monoprice!
