How flexible is this cable? I need it to transition from the ceiling to a wall.

BEST ANSWER: I found this HDMI cable fairly flexible. I would suggest if you were to purchase this cable, once received, I would unwind the cable out of its packaging and allow it to be fully stretched out in the room for a couple of days prior to permanently placing it either in the ceiling or behind sheetrock.

Moreover, I am confident enough in the cable’s overall construction integrity and build quality to place a heat source, at a safe distance from the cable's outer jacket for a few seconds, like small blue canister propane torch in order to form a crisp, close to a 90 degree bend in the cable, without fear of damaging the cable.

I put the cable through a plastic tube inside a wall that exited out to a nearby media cabinet where it was attached to the cable box. I was real careful not to pull or stretch the cable to make it straight in fear that it would damage the cable. It worked for me and I am happy with this product.

This would not be the cable for that. If the bends are soft then you’ll be okay. If you need ultimate flex when doing ceiling and wall drops, use a cat5 or cat6 cable. Then purchase a cheap sender and receiver unit from amazon probably 30 bucks.

It's fairly flexible and should serve your purpose fine, though if you're running in-wall I'd recommend looking into an HDBaseT solution if it's in your budget. You'll avoid having to pull new cables whenever the spec changes.

Not flexible at all. We actually broke ours trying to bend it into the TV. I would say it has a bend radius of about 140 Degrees. I would recommend getting a Male to male adapter then a thinner cable across the bend.

This would best be answered by the manufacturer. The cable was shipped rolled up with a minimum diameter of 5 inches. The cable resists being bent much tighter.

I did the same with this product and it was flexible enough for my purposes. It's not totally loose like a rope, but it took the corner well.
