What AWG is this cable? Why has no one at Monoprice been able to answer this? I see the same question was posted with almost 100 “upvotes” and yet no one had answered yet on their end?!?! Come on guys. I was going to purchase this, until now.

BEST ANSWER: Did you ever get an answer? I would love to see a 22/22AWG micro USB cables. I would buy them for all of my gear. The monolith has 22AWG but only comes in USB-type B / NO MICRO CONNECTION VERSION.

What is the current rating (in amps) for this cable?

BEST ANSWER: At minimum 3A given that non-PD usage tops out at 2.4A @ 5V, I haven't seen or used anything that has a mirco female and can negotiate based on using a passthrough multimeter. That said externally the sheathing thickness seems identical to the linked product, I have both, which if it is consistent across the Atlasflex line would support 5A.

Sturdy, and does the job
Sturdier than the typical wire wrapping, not too stiff (coils but not "bendy"). So far so good - hope they last!

I wanted a new usb cable for using my PS4 controller on my PC, and this cable fits pretty snugly and doesn't wobble around in the charging port.
