I have a Samsung Note 5. I want to get the Qualcomm car charger and a good cable. I notice there are other high end cables with lights and I want to know if this cable is better suited for car charging or are there better options. Also is this the right cable for a Note 5?

BEST ANSWER: I dont see why not. I bought this cable as a replacement for the usb cable I used with my portable batteries. The cable has worked well with my Samsung Galaxy 7.

Don't know if the extra reinforcements are worth extra cost, but these feel solid. I'll probably buy other lengths of these cables since they're relatively inexpensive.

Better than OEM
Built to withstand everyday use. The metal connector seems to be superior to OEM, but time will tell since I am rough on my gear as a courier that relies on my phone to make a living.So far ...... so good
