The Atlas flex cables I purchased are excellent well constructed cables that should stand the test of hard use and time due the molded strain reliefs at each end of the Kevlar-nylon cable, but I still prefer the Monoprice Luxe series Lightning cables because of the LED charging status indicator in the lightning tip end of the cables. I find the LED extremely useful in locating the end of the cable in a dark room and knowing the charge status of the iPhone or iPad without the need to waken the device and look at the display. Ditto for my AirPods no need to open the case to see Apple's charge indicator LED.
Monoprice should add the LED status indicator to the Atlas series cables and they would have a 10 star product (and could discontinue the predecessor products).
I bought this cable for use in my car to connect my phone to the radio without having a long cable length draped around. I’m not sure why, but it only works for a few seconds before the sound goes out and radio displays a “check USB” malfunction. The Apple lightning cable and some others I already have work flawlessly.
