can you lock the wheels to preventing desk from moving?

BEST ANSWER: Yes. The desk still slides a bit but I have it on a hardwood floor and it's slippery. Doesn't bother me.

Yes. The assembly kit comes with two locking casters to install on the legs closest to the user.

The front wheels are slightly larger and can be locked. They do a good job keeping the desk put.

Two of the wheels lock, this is enough to keep it in place.

Is the white table top version of this desk treated to be water resistant? If not, what sealant do you suggest? I'd like to place cups on the desk without ruining it.

BEST ANSWER: You dont need to use a coaster on it. It's completely water resistant. It's a plastic composition membrane. I should clarify as mine is black not walnut but I'd put money on the walnut being the same material and not actually real wood. Just a laminate that looks like wood.

I have the black table top version. Which I'm sure is plastic laminate. Thus, liquids should not be a problem. I also have a large mouse pad/mat on it. I place drinks on it frequently. Although, I also use a coaster. Hope that helps

I think it must be treated with something ... I've been sitting beverages on mine for years with no coaster and there aren't any rings or artifacts left behind ... I have a white one and a black one

The black one is, so I would imagine the white one is, as well.

How about a side picture? I need to know if the front of the desk is directly above the front of the frame. In other words, if I roll the front of the frame against a wall, will the front of the desktop also be hitting the wall? thank you
A shopper
on Sep 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes both the front of the frame and the desk would be hitting the wall, within less than an inch.

Is it spacious to hold a monitor along with laptop?
New User U
on Mar 31, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
That would all depend on your monitor and laptop's size.
The desk's dimensions would be 31.5" x 23.5" so you should measure if you can fit what you have in an area of that size.

It's definitely a compact desk but I have a laptop and separate, sizeable monitor and it works well.

How much does this weigh? I need to transport from building to other buildings.
And, do any of the wheels lock? To keep it from inadvertently moving.

Can you tilt the desktop? In some pictures it appears to be tilted.
A shopper
on Apr 10, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I don’t think that’s possible. The table top just screws into a fixed position and there’s no tilt adjustment mechanism.
Also, having the wheels on a carpeted surface may make the whole table wobble a bit.

Good-Looking, Functional Desk
This is a great desk. Perfect size for a laptop and additional monitor with some space left over. The casters are durable and roll smoothly; and the raising motion is smooth. If you?re looking for a change of scenery from your boring walls, I recommend this desk highly. If you need more, storage it would be easy add a drawer to the bottom of the desktop. Major plus: it?s also a good-looking addition to your home office.

Good Product
The mobile desk is well-constructed and spacious. The only issue I concern is when using the so called ?gas-lift technology? to adjust the height of the desk, it?s making creaking noise and it?s not as ?smooth? as other brand, same product on the market.

Good looking, solid desk. I wish it had a keyboard tray!
Stable, solid, well made. Holds 2 monitors and a laptop. It would be nice if it came with an inbuilt keyboard tray - I had to add one to make it really useful.

Just great
This thing is just perfect. I got it because I was tired of sitting all day while working from home, and this sit/stand desk is perfect. It's light enough to be mobile, but surprisingly sturdy even when extended. Looks great and was easy to set up. The pneumatic action is smooth and effortless -- no need for a motor!

Simple and effective!
I didn't need anything fancy, just an elevated surface for reading and writing and computing, and this fits the bill. It was pretty easy to put together and very simple to operate. No fuss no frills, just a place to stand that you can move around. The surface is plenty big for a laptop + papers and a cup, etc.
