Can anyone tell me if the B-stock models of the Monolith 2 or 3 have both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs, or just RCA inputs? I'm not sure when the XLR inputs were added and don't want to buy an amp that doesn't have them...

The B stock 3 that I received has both.

The overall dimensions state it is 7 inches in height. Is that including the feet on the bottom or the chassis only?

Chassis only. I just purchased this based on what I'd thought I'd seen here before. With its feet on, height is 7 13/16". The front facade is very slightly taller; 7 7/8".

Great amplifier, but wasn't a good match for my Martin Logan's.
I got this to replace an aging Bryston 4B ST, nothing was wrong with it, the upgrade bug was biting though. I also wanted beter power for my Martin Logans Stage center channel. I got it in, hooked it up, and let it play for about 120 hours before I did any critical listening. It sounded just fine for movies and some music. In the end I sent it back because it was lacking on the top end and had some harshness in the mid-range. Some vocals that sounded perfectly fine on the Bryson would give me a headache on the Monolith. I used to play drums and know all the subtle details drummers do especially with cymbals and those details were simply not there. I did do a direct comparison with The Bryson and another ATI amp that I own and just found this coming up short even to the other aging ATI AT1502 that I own. I think this is well built well thought out and will work for home theater and some speaker applications but simply didn't work with my Martin Logan Theos.
Monoprice was easy to work with on the return and I would probably do business with them again in the future.

Front Stage Power Goliath..!!
I'm all about the power and making sure that you're speakers receive what they thirst for and this Amp does just that..I've never had one issue with Amp and it continues to provide constant power that I need and never Fails..
