This is a true 4K monitor of 17:9 aspect ratio. The width is the same with a regular 32-inch monitor but the height about an inch smaller. It is an IPS panel from LG. The picture quality is really amazing, colors are vibrant and realistic, the best picture I have seen on a monitor. It is bright, i.e. at the default settings of 50% brightness and contrast, it is about 220 nits; at maximum settings is much brighter, which makes it good for gaming. I used a color calibrator (Xrite Colormunki display), but it is not really necessary. I did not observe any flickering. It has amd Freesync, which I think it works, but I did not test beyond 60hz. My graphics is from a 2400g Ryzen 5 APU, which drives the monitor without issues. It comes with a nice small remote which is very convenient. The monitor construction is sturdy, it is all metal, but not very heavy.
The only drawback is the base which is very simplistic and not adjustable. I wish it came with an adjustable base. Then this would have been one of the best monitors in the market. The Microboard logo at the bottom of the screen is actually very discreet and not as shown in the pictures, I think they have revised it and it looks good now.
Overall, this is a great monitor for high-end performance on a budget.
