BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
You would want to use a USB video adapter if you are trying to get video out of a computer by using a USB port.
You can find a list of items here that would allow for such a thing: https://www.monoprice.com/category/adapters,-switches,-&-splitters/audio-video-distribution/audio-video-converters

This cable is meant to connect a VGA output source such as the VGA port on a computer to a projector that uses the M1-D connector. The USB cable is for a pointer interface like a mouse.

I am looking for a cable to connect an InFocus LP70+ Projector to a HP ProBook laptop?

BEST ANSWER: As far as I know LP 70+ has an M1 connector for Video input. Please make sure. If that's so, sure this cable will serve the purpose. I used it with X3 and it works VGA to M1.

I was looking for a replacement cable for our Dell 3400MP projector. This works perfectly and cost much less than other sites.

Works as advertised and looks very solid.....
I have a projector that was having color issues seemingly from a bad pin or connector. I ordered this cable to replace the damaged cable. It came in a few short days and worked beautifully upon testing. I am VERY happy.!

Great Replacement Cable
Purchased a used InFocus LP120 projector that was missing its accessories, specifically the DVI to VGA interface cable. Searched online and Monoprice comes through in the clutch.
PROS: Works like a charm and reasonably priced.

Replacement Cable for Projector
Bought this to replace a cable on a little Dell projector. Apparently, the education department let someone borrow their projector and whomever used it brought back the projector but kept the cable (Why, I do not know). I looked at CDW (one of few vendors we're allowed to purchase from) and they wanted $30. for the same cable. At $5.65, I went ahead and paid for it out of pocket.
PROS: It worked and it was cheap
CONS: None

Replacement Cable for Projector
As most people know, the price for cables at most places are expensive. MonoPrice had this cable that is exactly what we needed for a very low price. Even though the price is cheap, the part is not cheaply made. The reason for an 8 is because of the high cost to ship. But overall, it was still about 1/3 the cost of others.
PROS: Exactly what was needed
CONS: shipping cost twice as much as the part.
