The Box Packaging listing specs States this has a 106mm driver yet your Full Specs listed on website is 66mm. Which is it?

106mm??? The entire earcup is only 85mm wide, hence no room for a 106mm driver. I’m sure it’s actually 66mm. BTW I like the headphones.

Is there a left ear and a right ear cup?

BEST ANSWER: No, the cups seem to be a symmetric design. The cable connectors have L and R labels so channels are assigned to the cups based on which connector you plug in.

Compared to 565 open back, is the 565 closed back tuned differently, have same driver & different magnet and will DMS3 review the 565C please ?

BEST ANSWER: The closed backs are tuned differently and use a different driver. It is based on 565 driver, but it needs to be optimized to work in a closed back enclosure.

Can I buy a replacement cord? The 1/8” adapter ripped out pretty easily and my soldering skills were not up to snuff.

BEST ANSWER: This happened to me. Contact customer service and they’ll get it sorted out for you. In my case, they sent me a new pair. Hopefully it’s not a persistent issue.

I have the Raspberry Pi IQAudio Dac Pro, which claims to have built-in headphone amp. According to their specs it can drive headphones up to 80ohms. Will this suffice?

BEST ANSWER: Not for sure but I would think so. I can assure you that you'll be very pleased with the phones. They're everything they're cracked up to be. I listen to NET classical symphony with mine to great satisfaction. Seems like a high price till ya' wear 'em then turns into WoW what a deal. "If you're not having fun you're doing something wrong."

Get 'em while they're HOT so Ya suffer NOT
Very private world as I prefer when enjoying Classical Symphony through a Monolith 124460 Portable Headphone Amplifier and Dac from my late 2016 Mac Book Pro with just a mild touch-up of bass and upper frequencies. The amp can drive the phones to ear hurtful levels totally contained by the closed back so let timid caution be your guide. I like the heft to an extent as once they're parked they stay put. Ear holes snuggle right to the edges to perfectly present program. and counter any drift. I notice a slight sound quality improvement from out of the box through initial break in so patience will reward. My phones came with an almost ebony finish with very little discernible grain. Rather pleasing however I don't listen to them while vainly gazing at a mirror. Summing up. "A heck of a deal, highly recommend."

Losing sleep
Sleep deprived in the week of receiving these because I'm staying up late listening to my music collection. Enough said?

As advertised. Great sound, comfortable to wear. Cord was too short though. Should make it easy to order an extension, if not making the cord longer to begin with.

Solid and satisfying. Great sound
surprisingly satisfying. I love these for their heft and subtle cherrywood-esque accents on the cans. The sound quality is worth every penny.
I also appreciate that these headphones make me look unapporoachable. Their look clearly implies that I expect
my headphones to be saying something more interested in what my headphones have to say.

Truly awesome
I purchased these for my teenage daughter as an Xmas present. Now I am not an audiophile, I do not like over the ear headphones, BUT: in comparing these to my in-ear Final E4000's, there is a CLEAR difference. I'm writing this the day after Xmas when everyone else is still sleeping, and when I plugged in the Monoprice headphones, I immediately jumped because there is SUCH a realistic and 360^o sound which comes from them that I thought I hadn't pushed the plug in all the way. Totally and completely awesome. They also seem extremely well constructed and due to last a long time.

Odd looking great sound
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of construction and the amazing sound. Odd looking but have become favorite headphones. They are worth a listen. Highly recommended

Very Good For The Bucks
I was very skeptical when i purchased these cans that are very cheap for planars. Pleased so far with their Very smooth sound with tight bass. Bass is not over blown but clear and tight. Picks up very low bass notes nicely. Highs and mids detailed and sweet. I am able to drive them fairly well with my Android phone. Better sound with headphone output from both of my 2 stereo preamps. I will be purchasing a headphone amp and dac which should improve things even more. Build quality seems fine with detachable cable. SURPRISINGLY Comfortable to wear.
