What is the exact length of this power strip, from the hole center on one end to the hole center on the other? I'm looking for a power strip to attach to a 4-foot wide pegboard, so I want to be sure this one will fit, where the attachment holes will align with the peg holes.

BEST ANSWER: 46 5/8" inches hole center to hole center. You have about 1/2" leeway side to side/up and down as the cutout is a "+" configuration. Total length may overhang your 48" pegboard, likely not a deal killer.

BEST ANSWER: NO. It doesn't. On the back side of the cardboard wrapping it reads, "THIS IS NOT A SURGE PROTECTOR. This power strip will not protect against damaging power surges. Use a surge protector to ensure safe voltage to your sensitive electronic devices." That can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for.

Works great under sit to stand desks
I like this power strip. I bought a couple of them for the two sit to stand desks in our home office. I screwed them under the table and plugged everything in. They are hard to plug in but this is good because I don't want the plugs falling out.

Must Have for Under Desk Cable Management
This was perfect for what I needed. I mounted it under my 80? long standing desk using Velcro so that I have outlets along the length of the desk. Definitely recommend if you need spread out power outlets.

Excessive force required to seat plugs
The power strip works fine for its intended purpose, but the force required to seat plugs is abnormally high. Leaning over my lab bench, it is incredibly difficult to generate the required force to plug something in without pounding on the plug in question; not a big deal for wall warts, but pretty awful for cable-end plugs.

We bought several these to use on our panel shop. We had been crowding the boxes around a regular short 6 plug type. Big improvement having these long and spaced out plugs. Will be ordering more. Mosquito Control Equipment

I use it to hide wires
Exactly as expected. I attached it to the back of a table that supports my home theater system. the table is then plugged into a wall outlet. The arrangement allows the table to be pulled out for cleaning while keeping the wires hidden while in use.

Strong and durable power strip
This is a great product, at an excellent price. It's in a metal enclosure, and has mount points included. The outlets are spaced out so that wall warts and power supplies can plug in directly. Similar strips sell for twice as much in stores.

convienent outlet strip
I have this hooked up to a ground fault outlet above the workbench in my shop. It works great when I'm using more than one power tool at a time.
