BEST ANSWER: Audio and video is always a weakest link situation. As long as your 4K rated HDMI cables are less than the maximum for the run, you'll be fine with these.

Yes, you should be able to use this coupler to combine the two HDMI cables and make a length of 18ft. However, please keep in mind that any coupler or extension may slightly reduce the signal quality, so you may experience some degree of reduced performance when using the combined cables.Enter an answer to this question.

BEST ANSWER: I am not that knowledgeable about signal loss to answer your question. I don't have an Xbox or any type of gaming devices. So i just don't know. I have used it to connect two HDMI cables to each other to allow for a connection from my PC to my monitor.. Works just fine. If there is any signal loss I don't see it.

Is it possible to connect three of these cables together with two couplers and still pass 4K @60Hz 4:4:4? I'd be looking at: 3-6 foot run behind wall + 10 foot run from TV to one wall + 10-15 foot run from wall to source. Total length would be between 23-31 feet. Alternative would be to purchase the 25 foot cable and run it direct from source to TV through the wall without any couplers.

I saw pin to pin, but am connecting two of your 3ft, 48gbps eArc cables together and as of yet cannot get the netflix audio to pass from my arc compatible tv back to my arc compatible receiver. Just want to verify the coupler will pass eArc info before I contact both vizio (tv) & yamaha (receiver)? Cheers!

Response from Monoprice
Thank you for your review of the HDMI coupler. It may seem like a simple connector, but it is actually a high-quality device that supports 4K resolution, 3D video, and audio return channels. It is also compatible with most HDMI cables and devices. We hope you enjoy using it for your entertainment needs.

HDMI Coupler
I had a long HDMI run from a computer to a wall mounted TV and used this coupler to join a HDMI cable to a DVI to HNM conversion cable at the PC end. It all worked well. I am very happy with this product.
