Can this mirror a laptop screen onto two HDTVs? Not looking to extend just duplicate same image across all displays.

It works great or as expected. I use Dell computer, for some reason it does not recognize monitors. Every time I re-start my computer (or wake up from screen saver mode), I need to disconnect DVI cable connected to the monitor, reset configuration on the computer and reconnect the DVI cables to get monitors work
I bought this to connect my Windows laptop to my two work monitors. No problems getting it to connect to either monitor, but you cannot extend your desktop to both displays. It will extend to one display and the other will just be a duplicate of that. I'd recommend just getting an adapter for just a single DVI if this was what you were planning.
Thankfully my laptop has a USB-C port as well as HDMI, so I was able to use this adapter to extend to one monitor and a USB-C to DVI adapter to extend to the second monitor: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=21607
I bought this because I need ti run a second monitor and the second port on my video card was HDMI, but my monitor was DVI. This works great. I haven't tried to drive a third monitor with the other DVI on this adapter, so I don't know how well it would work. At the price, I didn't think I could go wrong. I was right.
It doesn't work when I tried to y split my direct dvr box to two different tv. I used a 28 awg hdmi monoprice cable, that could be the reason why it did not work.
Sort of works. Passive splitters aren't so good for DVI or HDMI sources. The handshaking is better taken care of with more expensive splitters with circuitry.
If you want to go with a passive splitter try this one instead. HDMI is lighter. The cables are much lighter than DVI. The DVI cables sticking out of this dragged it off my desk. You can use normal HDMI cables with #2522 and convert the cables at the end to DVI with a HDMI to DVI adapter.
