Very happy with the quality and price of this product. This was an excellent choice to run a concealed wire for a ceiling mounted projector to the wall where all the components were. This worked very well with the 3 RCA Component Wall Plate (RGB) - Coupler Type.
This cable was exactly what the doctor ordered! I needed a cable like this to get an HD feed to my projector, and this completely fit the bill. Works really great with my 4 port component switch I got from here.
PROS: Super durable, 100% compatible with my projector and switch. Exactly what I was looking for!
CONS: It's pretty thick, so don't expect it to be easy to hide.
I'm using an onkyo receiver to switch (by component cable) between an xbox 360 and ps3. Although my receiver is hdmi capable I prefer using analog signals. My optoma projector only has dvi, vga, composite & s-vid inputs so I needed a loooong cable that could connect with component rca at the receiver and component 15 pin at my projector.
Enter Monoprice with this 50FT VGA to 3 RCA component video cable. It works flawlessly.
I've been looking for a cable of this length for my home theater and was discouraged by the price for a long time. Then I found monoprice.com and was thrilled to find the cable I needed for such a great price. I got it on time and it worked flawlessly. I can now watch TV, movies, and play games in HD. I plan to come back to monoprice.com first for all my video and audio shopping!
As expected this is a good all around cable, nothing fancy but easy to use and run, flexible enough as well and simple but clean and tight connections. Picture quality is as expected from a good component video cable set up.
I had no idea my Panasonic presentation projector had HD capabilities until I was setting it up for a football game. The manual pointed out that one of the VGA connectors could sense a component video signal automatically when used with the proper conversion cable. It's a no-brainer to check with MonoPrice for any cable I've needed. Sure enough, for a minimal price, they had a 50' cable that did the trick instantly when connected. Thanks MonoPrice.
