At first, I was just looking to expand my router’s 4 ethernet outputs. Then I found out that a gigabit unit could also speed up data transfer to other computers and printers on the lan. So it’s works great fo speeding up file transfers and print jobs. Well worth the money! Get wired up when you can and save the Wi-Fi for portable devices that really need it.

It came in a reasonable amount of time, I like it’s sturdy construction. it was easy to set up if you need an no frills 8 port switch this is it. It’s a great buy.
