What is the proper cable for this?
A shopper
on Jul 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I used the original cable that came with the device being charged. The key feature is that this has the amperage to be used as a is a quick charger. While it will work fine with charging any device, the optimum is reached when the device being charged has the charging circuitry to take advantage of a quick charge. Another good use for this charger is for the Raspberri Pi 3 as it has the amperage to power the Pi 3. In a quick answer, any cable that uses a standard (old fashioned) USB A connection at the charger end, and fits the port on your device end will work.

Yes. It's the device that "decides" how much energy it wants. A powerful charger will not overflow your device with too much electricity. I used it with my iPad and phone without any problems.

Is it Qualcomm Certified QC 3.0?
A shopper
on Jun 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It is not specified. I have two of them and love them. Fast works on so many things great price as well. If the certification is important might be better to buy a more expensive one. However I do believe you will be happy with this one. JMO

Does this accept 220/240 volt AC current input? I'm going to Europe, Germany has 230VAC at 50 Hz. I have the adapter for the shape of the German plug. Looks like the voltage range is specified under the plugs, but it is hidden in the picture. Thank you!

Anyone try this with OnePlus Dash charging?
Frank T
on Oct 8, 2020
BEST ANSWER: OnePlus Dash Charge uses 5V/4A, and this charger does not support that. It supports other industry standards for Quick Charge at 5V/3A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A, but OnePlus' proprietary 5V/4A Dash Charge is not technically within spec.

Does this fast charge both galaxy phones and iPad?

BEST ANSWER: Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry. This will fast charge Galaxy Phones. However, iPad requires a USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) device to fast charge so this device would not fast charge an iPad.

Worked for over +3 years
Quick charge worked great on 2 phones, my LG v40 and v60. Just stopped working. If you are willing to pay for this estimated lifespan (which will vary) with respect to price, you might consider this a deal.
1. If you needed a QC 3.0 soon at an affordable price. This is for you.
2. You do not anticipate using this for more than a couple of years (like you are upgrading to new technology later such as wireless charging) and deal with returns within a year. You will not be upset, and this is for you.
It would be 5 stars if it was still working.

Works OK, wish it had another port
Came quickly and has the juice to charge my newer devices that require more than the 2 amp max chargers. do wish it had another port so one could charge two less power hungry devices at once.

fast charge does not work for galaxy s10
purchased several for two lg g6 phones with wires from monoprice a couple years ago with the intention that they would be used with multiple phones. kept two of the chargers in box as a back up in case the others broke or were lost. they worked just fine fast charge and all for the lg g6 phones, but now that I have a galaxy s10 fast charge does not work. funny thing is my original fast charger that came with my lg g6 and the charger that came with the s10 both work on fast charge. unfortunately these do not.
