How flexible is this cable?
Robert C
on Aug 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Robert it's hard to quantify how flexible this cable is. I can easily coil the cable twice to a six inch diameter (3 in radius), I wouldn't recommend bending the cable much more. The cable seems high quality with excellent connectors.

High quality but the cable head is rather long. Make sure you have an extra inch to plug it in when your space is tight

This cable is very flexible but it is also sturdy. You can bend it probably just not at a 90 degree angle.

It is fairly flexible. You can make a 2in diameter 180 before you start to feel resistance.

Is this connector any looser/more flexible than the #2683 cable? I have a 2683 and it's WAY too tight - it makes me fearful of damage every time I make the connection. This one more forgiving?

BEST ANSWER: Twisting the collar down loosens the connection, once it’s on, tighten the collar back up.

Does this cable has a good frequency range for a subwoofer?
New User U
on Mar 31, 2022
BEST ANSWER: You’ll enjoy this cable for a subwoofer connection, as it’s well shielded and should work well. That said, the frequency range is more of a question of your subwoofer’s capabilities than the cable.

would these cables be suitable for connecting analog sources to my amp, as well as running audio to and from my computer? i have things set up for doing analog to digital transfers, be it from vinyl, cassette, 8-track or whatever... would this be the cable to go with, or is there a better option available here that i should be looking at?

Gauge?

BEST ANSWER: Gauge isn’t relevant. This is a 6ft 75ohm RCA cable, if you’re worried about Amperage handling then this is not the right cable.

I am unable to plug in the RCA connector. It is too tight. I loosened the collar, but it did not allow the connector to attach. Any suggestions?

BEST ANSWER: Spread apart the outer shield pieces just enough to fit it on. Just be careful to not bend them too far or you may not get a good connection.

Are these connectors removable/reusable? I noticed a flathead set screw on them, and am wondering if it would be possible to shorten them to an exact length for a custom installation I'm doing.

What is the set/grub screw (phillips in the product image) for? I thought it was for adjusting the fit until I realized the collar rotates for that. This info should be on the product description. I started an RMA because one was so tight. I had loosened the screws and don't know if they should be tight or flush now.

Great stuff. Finally got rid of the hum in my power amp
Great quality. Absolutely no 50 hz hum. I was concerned whether the connector between my yamaha aventage and monoprice 7 channel power amp would pick up hum/buzz because of the clutter of cables and power cords in the tight space behind my cabinet. The monoprice cables are great with 0 hum. Replaced amazon premium cables that had quite a pronounced hum. Great stuff from Monoprice.

Satisfied!
Cable mesh is very durable, connectors at the end points have a spinning locking clamp for excellent connection, and most importantly works!

Monoprice high quality
This cable is extremely well made and has a neat feature which I discovered. Once you plug it in you can screw the RCA connection for an even tighter fit. I?ve now learned about quality at a low cost, this cable is very high quality.

nice cables, but be aware that connectors are fat and long
These are nice beefy cables, but the rca connectors are too fat for some jacks that are spaced closely together like the jacks on my Dual 1219 turntable. You may also have problems with the length of the connector if you don't have a lot of clearance behind your jacks.
