BEST ANSWER: The top is PLAM (Particle board laminate) about 15/16th inch thick, It's close to white in color with grey wood like grain. It is very sturdy and has no give. Solid as a rock.

BEST ANSWER: No, the holes on the desktop do not line up with the mounting holes on the desk frame. The weight difference between this and the gas-lift desktop may be problematic too. You could drill new holes in this desktop but based on my own experience you're better off just getting the matching desktop and frame.
I do wish Monoprice still made a light colored desktop for the pneumatic base. I got over having all my things be black a long time ago.

BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately we ran out of stock of that size the tops are in high demand from the factory. Estimated ETA is late 2020 or early 2021.
If you need the 4ft size and you are able to position and drill your own screw location, you could also consider Product 30909, which is a desktop designed for our gas-lift desk. It could also be used with the motorized desks except the pre-drilled mounting holes will not line up.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the curved cutout maxes at 5.9" from the front edge. You can check the second photo on the product page for reference as that provides some measurements. Hope this helps.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, although that was the original intent and design for these products, the current inventory in stock will most likely not lineup (Q1 2021) due to supply constraints during the pandemic.
But mounting the top on the frame is not too difficult compared to the assembly process for the desk itself. It's would be an extra step to measure and position the top and to either pre-drill or use the screws to start the hole.

White do the white tops actually look like? It would be greatly appreciated if someone would take a moment to post some actual pics of the WHITE monoprice table tops. Might be worth adding when you purchased the tops in the chance they have changed in anyway. Home work usage
fits the sit-stand adjustable desk. This doesnt come with screws but the desk set comes with screws. defintly looks better and sturdy

Amazing quality for the price
This table top is big, solid, and looks great. It wasn't made for the standing desk base I used, but was very easy to pre-drill new mounting holes.
