I have several WD hard drives and have had great success and been very happy with them. This is the first time I have had a problem with one and it was well in the warranty period to return it. They are questioning if it's theirs, which it is and won't replace it. After I backed up my files on it, it started having to be repaired by Windows, then it couldn't be detected by my laptop. Luckily I had another backup because of it having to be repaired so much I didn't want to lose my files. All I want is it to be replaced. Then I'll give 5 stars.
