BEST ANSWER: This item is made in China (mainland). It's a high quality adapter. I have many in use and I've never had one fail. The male HDMI connector is mounted strongly and resists breaking.

This does not have HDMI-Female, right? The description says both HDMI female and HDMI male.

Is that DVI D single link? The image shows its DVI D double link. I need a DVI D single link. Do you have that?

BEST ANSWER: The Image is actually showing a DVI-All female interface, which supports DVI-A, DVI-D single link, and DVI-D double link male interfaces with one single female interface. This product works fine with DVI-D single-link male interfaces.

I have a Mac Mini with HDMI display port, USB-C and USB outputs and need to connect to a monitor with VGA and DVI inputs. A plain-Jane HDMI-to-male-DVI adapter connects the two but monitor says “no signal”. Suggestions?

Works as expected
Got three new computers with HDMI DisplayPort video outputs, but the KVM switch has DVI connectors. This MP adapter provides the missing link and the video is nice and crisp.

Works great for Wacom 22HD Contiq, a little chunky and ugly.
Used this to adapt my Wacom 22HD Cintiq DVI connection to my MacBook Pros docking station. Connecting the monitor through a Belkin DVI to USB-C adaptor was unreliable. This adaptor works flawlessly even if its a little bulky attached to usb hub/dock.
