For the most part, a cable is a cable.For the purpose of connecting my audio interface to my studio monitors, this cable is perfect. It's balanced (no noise), gold-plated (no oxidation), and both the connectors and the cable itself seem to be top quality. The rubber jacket on the cable is thicker than most name brands. The XLR and TRS connectors are both user-serviceable, so even if you did have an issue, you could fix it yourself. The solder points are professional quality.I haven't had these long enough to comment on longevity, but if one fails, I'll update this review.

Quality cables at a good price. I could have made them myself, but Monoprice was more convenient. Solidly constructed and noiseless, these will be a part of my studio indefinitely. I just wish there was a less expensive delivery option.

Upon opening package that was neatly wrapped, I quickly put these cables to work. I plugged in And sound came out. The quality feels good. Definite bamh for the buck

Well built and the shielding is flexible enough so user(s) does not have to straigthen it up.

Perfectly fit on the male XLR end as well the TRS end. The cables do not color and change the sound quality.
