How much memory storage does this unit come with?

BEST ANSWER: DVRs like this one would not come with an HDD, you would have to buy one separately.
I would recommend picking up a security or surveillance HDD for our DVRs.

There are conflicting answers given here by various staff members about number of concurrent channels of analog/digital cameras for recording. Can someone please provide a definitive answer for the number of CONCURRENT video channels, analog AND digital, that can be recorded at once?

Great DVR, No Hard Drive included
Have had this dvr for about 6 months now with no issues. Works better and has more options than the previous Security System Kit that cost us about $2000 years ago. Very user friendly, zoom options are great with HD cameras, remote access works like a charm with good video quality even on a mobile device. It paired up fine with the older cameras (non IP) from the other system and with a new HD camera from monoprice. Only needed some cheap cable adapters for the older cameras.
Only disappointment was that Monoprice failed to specifically mention in the specs that a Hard Drive is NOT included. Only states maximum size allowed; not that it comes without one. So I had to purchase and wait for a HDD to come in ($70 for a 2TB) which bumped up the overall cost and timeline. Also, my old system had built-in DC power for the cameras and this one doesn't.
Overall, I'd rather have this system as it was much better and still cheaper than the expensive all-in-one systems we have had in the past. The ability to use my old cameras was a plus; but next to the new 1080p HD camera the picture quality of the old ones are no longer acceptable. Will be upgrading all cameras to HD.

DVR for Theatrical Monitor use
I use this for displaying live feeds from a stage to technicians during performances and rehearsals. It works quite well for my needs. The listing doesn't give much info about this, but it can be used as a remote for PTZ cameras as well as to configure non PTZ cameras, but the interface for that is a bit clunky. It did save me from having to buy a separate device for that task though. As far as it's DVR functionality, it is reasonably straightforward and easy to configure.
