I plugged this into an older computer that didnt have wifi and this adapter works until it doesn't. will stay connected for a while but will randomly disconnect and reconnect throughout the day

It was inexpensive. It worked for me on a Windows Vista machine. As advertised.

From what I can tell, this thing is plug and play 2.4 GHz 802.11n with no fuss. It doesn't do 5 GHz, it doesn't do other modes, and it's nothing fancy, but it's absolutely tiny, it's $6, and it gives you working wifi. I didn't even need to install the provided driver (though I went on the website and installed it anyway, just to check out the utility and see if it added any functionality).

This item works great! It is nice and small. The drivers are provided with this device. This device comes with drivers for Windows 10 and below.

Had to go find a new driver for other to work on ubuntu properly. But after that it was fine.

Price and size are its best features. Speed is questionable.
