What are the Hight of the legs? I see the picture showing they are adjustable, and one comment says they were about to modify them to 5 11/16", but the component I need clearance for is only about 4.25 inches/

The legs are about 3.5 inches but you can adjust them longer. Mine are at 4 inches - they might go a bit taller. I am using it for a flat screen tv in a bedroom on top of a dresser. I hope that helps.

BEST ANSWER: Not to my knowledge. You could contact Monoprice to make sure. Be aware there are no other places to mount additional "feet" other than the four corner locations provided. There currently is no way to screw/attach an additional foot/leg to the ones provided. If your goal is to increase the height of the stand to permit placing a taller object beneath it as I did (putting my stereo receiver there, and my cd/tape deck on top of the stand) you can do this by shimming the provided feet at the top and bottom with large fender washers, and further increase the height at the bottom with large rubber grommets and corks, all available from Home Depot. Doing this I was able to increase the height to 5 11/16". Remember, the weight placed on the glass is limited to 22 lbs. Hope this helps.

I will say, No! The machining of the leg bolts did not meet my standards of the quality I expect. The legs can be lengthened slightly but I strongly don’t recommend it. For maximum stability, the legs should be installed at the minimum length. I have 2 of these units, stacked, (not recommended I believe) with about 10 lbs on each. No problems at all. The appearance of these black glass shelves greatly exceeded my expectations❗️I’m very happy with the purchase ‼️

I don't think so. I had our maintenance department make blocks from 2 x 4's also 4 x 4's and they painted them black. We have 20 users with 3 monitors and they don't quite fit on the large stand. These extra feet work great with the stands..

BEST ANSWER: The grey part pictures are the metal legs. They do come with tiny round rubber pieces you can attach below the legs to add additional friction etc.

The site description says 80 lbs of weight, however the manual I received in the box states 22 lbs. I am placing a 30lb CRT on this riser and am concerned it will fail. Is the included manual incorrect?

We ordered this item from Amazon twice. Both times, the threaded pins were missing - possibly lost during shipment. If we order directly from you, are you able to supply threaded pins if they are lost in transit again?

I modified the legs with 10-1.5mm all thread and 2 like nuts.. The Al thread goes all the way through the included legs… I cut the 1-1/2” PVC pipe to length, lightly sanded and painted to taste… Chrome color maybe? Can always change and repaint later on… Any thoughts… ??? I made 8”, 7”, and 5” legs…

Came with the legs and hardware missing. Constructed a return easily with customer service and received a new one all at their cost of course. Took longer than expected but overall, a good item and exactly as described.

Functional enough to now own 3.
I bought one and ended up buying 2 more to set across my standing desk. I have one on each side and one across the center to support the 3 24" monitors and a 38" 4K TV that I also use as a monitor. I've not had a weight issue, even with one desktop PC sitting on it with the monitor on top. The height of these stands isn't adjustable. You get 3.5" from the work surface supporting the stand to the top of the glass. You can easily fit a keyboard and mouse underneath, as well as a laptop. The black glass doesn't have any transparency, so don't expect any lighting effects to come through the glass in either direction (from above or below). My only complaint would be the tiny rubber nubs (that are basically stickers) to go under the feet. Even though I prepared the underside of the feet with rubbing alcohol, the adhesive doesn't hold very well. Depending on the type of work surface you put these on and any texture on that surface, these shelves can slide, so these rubber feet are important. Keep that in mind and avoid trying to move these around with any weight on them.
